| > > | Summary : The IPNL-RIKEN/TMU project aims to investigate by two complementary technics the fragmentation and the lifetime of excited states of biologically relevant molecules. The experimental method developed at RIKEN (Japan) uses the RICE-ring, Riken Cryogenic Electrostatic ring, and that developed at the IPNL (Lyon) uses the DIAM, Device for molecular cluster irradiation. The experiments undertaken in both laboratories will provide complementary information and a better understanding of the physical chemistry of biomolecular ions such as nucleobases or proteins. | |||||||
