2019 SAKURA FUNDING PROGRAM PROMOTING FRENCH-JAPANESE COLLABORATION

The SAKURA program is funded by the JSPS in Japan and by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Education and Research in France. It provides funding for bilateral exchanges between French and Japanese teams of researchers, for up to two years. Exceptionnaly, a third year can be granted. New collaborations involving junior researchers and doctoral students have priority in the selection. The maximum amount of funding is 6000 euros/year for the French teams, and 1000000 Yen for the Japanese teams, covering exclusively travel expenses for mutual visits.
