---+!! FCPPL-CSC PhD grant application for 2010 

The FCPPL - CSC agreement allows either 3-year grants for  full PhD in France, or 6- to 24-month grants for students who are already registered as PhD students in China. Grants are allocated by the CSC and are around 1000 euros/month, with return flight tickets included.

The selection procedureis the following:

   * First the FCPPL Steering Committee will preselect students who apply to a French lab member of FCPPL. 

   * Then the CSC will evaluate the preselected candidates according to CSC requirements and priorities, and will inform the successful candidates in May or June 2010.    * <b>For candidates coming from Universities: </b> please note that your University is awarded a fixed and limited number of grants by CSC. Your university will therefore establish its own list of candidates which will be transfered to CSC. This is usually done in December or January. <b> Your name has to be on this list in order to get a grant! </b> Unfortunatly the procedure to establish this list differs from one University to the other. We therefore strongly suggest that you contact your own university administration in order to get valid information. This procedure do not apply to candidates from CAS institutes (including USTC). 

 
<b>It should be stressed that the final selection is done by CSC: being preselected by the FCPPL does not necessarily mean that the CSC will allocate the grant! </b>
