FCPPL-CSC PhD grant application for 2009

The FCPPL - CSC agreement allows either 3-year grants for full PhD in France, or 6- to 24-month grants for students who are already registered as PhD students in China. Grants are allocated by the CSC and are around 1000 euros/month, with return flight tickets included.

The selection procedure follows two steps:

• First the FCPPL Steering Committee will preselect students who apply to a French lab member of FCPPL.

• The CSC will then evaluate the listed candidates according to CSC requirements and priorities, and will inform the successful candidates in May 2009. Details on this second step will soon be given on the CSC web page and advertised on the FCPPL mailing list.

It should be stressed that the final selection is done by CSC: being preselected by the FCPPL does not necessarily mean that the CSC will allocate the grant!

Candidates have to download the FCPPL_CSC_Application.doc file, fill the form and upload it to the FCPPL web site before February 17th, 2009.
