---++ %BLUE%TYL-FJPPL Young Investigator Award%ENDCOLOR% The aim of the !TYL-FJPPL Young Investigator Award is to highlight and promote the individual work of junior scientists active within the !TYL-FJPPL French and Japanese teams. <br> The !TYL-FJPPL Young Investigator Award will reward up to two !PhD students or postdoctoral researchers every year, based on the excellence of their contribution to one of the !TYL-FJPPL supported collaborative projects. <br> Nominations should be sent to the !TYL-FJPPL secretariat (Inès Bernaud, ines.bernaud@iphc.cnrs.fr and Ritsuko Ota, rota@mail.kek.jp) before %ORANGE%February 15, 2017%ENDCOLOR%, for evaluation before the next !TYL-FJPPL annual workshop, planned May 10-12, 2017. The nominations should include a brief description of the work and particular contribution of the candidate (half page to one page long), a CV and at least one letter of recommendation. <br> The following criteria will be used in the evaluation: * Importance and originality of specific contribution to the !TYL-FJPPL supported collaborative project * Level of recognition in both partner teams * Scientific and/or technical excellence (e.g. in terms of papers, talks, other award,...) and any special consideration As part of the award, selected candidates will be invited by the !TYL-FJPPL to present their work during an Award Ceremony at the next !TYL-FJPPL annual workshop. ---++ %BLUE%Application for !TYL-FJPPL Student or Early Stage Researcher Secondment%ENDCOLOR% Support can be provided to the !TYL-FJPPL teams for exchanges of master/doctoral students and junior post-doctoral researchers in the context of their collaborative project. A brief explanation of the context and purpose of the visit, including the project to be pursued, should be given, as well as the proposed duration and supervision arrangements. The sending party is expected to fund the traveling and the hosting group the local expenses (other arrangement can also be considered in specific cases).
